NEW PAINTING BEGUN

Iv been playing around with drawing, trying to develop something which signifies tenderness of natural shapes contrasting with stark definite forms.

This is what I'm aiming for in this painting, I'm excited to see how it may develop.

GREG BRYCE PAINTING EXHIBITION

These paintings are a real fresh body of work for Scottish artist Greg Bryce.
The paintings exhibited in a prime, minimal & sophisticated manner, (including jazz appropriately sound-tracking the opening), are absolute expression in great communication with the bold colours used.
Control & order contrast & compliment spontaneous process, creating a strong, tender, coherent & confident voice.

See more work at http://www.gregbryce.com/

EASTER SUNDAY EGG-ROLLIN'

We headed to 'Slottskogen' Park & rolled some lovingly decorated eggs down the hill.......like the weird Brits that we are with our strange Easter ways!

Although the Swedish eat tins of fish, hard boiled eggs & tons of pick & mix sweets & decorate twigs with feathers.....so were all entitled to our own!

Pirate egg making a fine appearance here..........

& here too

Just before 'The Roll'

and the hill that brought them all to a sorry end.......
or not if a squirrel finds it & takes a hand-decorated hard boiled egg home to his family!

GOOD DEED DONE!

LIGHT MOTIONS

I really like these two images. I took them on film on my Olympus AZ 210. I really like the honesty of them that is gained with film. I also like the tenderness of the images, the objects were momentarily lit up at THAT time of THAT day, & its captured here. The shadows cast add to the lapse of time of light.

ISLAND HOPPING........

Today was spent exploring outside of Goteborg.
North-West of the city is the northern collection of Gothenburg's cluster ARCHIPELAGO, which boast amazing sights & treasured SCANDINAVIAN NATURE.
We headed for the island of Marstrand, which was like a ghost town this time of year, which made it even MORE FUN to explore its coastal BAYS & mass ROCK LAND.

We were able to get right around the island to check out amazing sea views & nothing but inspiring nature formations.

NICE!
